Vinay Goel is the Head of Products for Google India. In this role, he is responsible for Google's product strategy and delivery functions for all products developed at Google India.

Vinay brings with him a 18 years of experience with technology companies. Prior to Google, Vinay was the Vice President of Worldwide Marketing at Webroot Software, a leader in the anti-spyware space. He has also served as the Director for Worldwide Field and Channel Marketing at Check Point Software. Vinay has also worked with Oracle, Intel and Sega in the past.

Vinay has a bachelor's degree in computer science from UC Berkeley and a Management degree from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.

Ashish is a founding Managing Partner of Helion. He serves on the boards of Gridstone Research, Zmanda, Naukri, MuSigma, Anantara, Virtual Synaptics, JiGrahak, Kirusa, and Komli. He has been an entrepreneur and an investor in the US and in India, investing in over 35 companies. His investments include Daksh (IBM), Odesk, Obongo (AOL), Speedera (Akamai), MakeMyTrip, Merittrac, and Kaboodle (Hearst).

Ashish co-founded and helped grow two successful companies; Tavant Technologies which is a 1000+ person IT services company, and Junglee (Amazon.com) that pioneered comparison shopping on the internet. Ashish has worked at Woodside Fund, Amazon.com, Oracle Corporation, and IBM Research.

He has to his credit several patents, international publications, and a book by MIT press. He is a Kauffman Fellow from the prestigious Center for Venture Education, the world’s leading venture capital education program. He also holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree from IIT Kanpur, where he was awarded the President's Gold medal.

Dr. Ajay Sethi is the founder and CEO of Ziva Software. Based on several innovative and patent-pending techniques, Ziva Software has developed a simple and innovative mobile search service (called Zook). Ziva Software's "Fetch Engine" is a radically different mobile search approach; it helps handset manufacturers and mobile operators to enable everyone (including users with no data connectivity) to search across the whole web while promoting and strengthening their own brands. Dr. Sethi has more than 16 years of management and software product development experience. Before founding Ziva Software, he was Director of Product Development at Oracle Corp and led several teams that built market-leading business intelligence products. As part of Oracle's core database team, he led a team to parallelize Oracle's PL/SQL programming language. Dr. Sethi has a Finance Degree from UC Berkeley, Ph.D. in parallelizing compilers from Rice University, and B.Tech. in Computer Science from IIT Mumbai.

Sanjay Swamy, a Silicon Valley veteran, is the Chief Executive Officer at mChek, responsible for the entire operations of the company and scaling mChek to support customers across the globe. Prior to mChek, he was instrumental in setting up India operations of Ketera India (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kleiner Venture backed Ketera Inc.), a leading provider of on-demand e-Procurement and Spend Management Solutions. Earlier, he had played a key role in setting up mPortal, a Virginia-based start-up in the Wireless Data Services domain. During his 12-year stint in the Silicon Valley, Sanjay had also held various senior positions in marketing and business development in Portal Software, Xerox PARC, and Integrated Systems (now Wind River).

Sanjay has done his MS in Aeronautics from University of Washington, Seattle, a higher studies diploma in Avionics from National Aerospace School (Sup-Aero), France besides holding an Engineering degree from Visvesvaraya College of Engineering, Bangalore, India.

Amrita handles program and product management for Microsoft India across mobile properties of MSN and Windows Live. Amrita's overall responsibility includes defining and delivery of products, and program management including operator and ISV account management with regard to MSN and WL. Amrita has 9+ years experience in the Telecom and Technology space and has spent 5 years in Telecom VAS and been part of core member teams of 2 start ups. Amrita has an MBA in International Business from IIFT, a Masters in English Literature from Bangalore University and an Honors in English Literature from Jadavpur University. Prior to joining Microsoft, Amrita was working with OnMobile Asia Pacific Ltd to develop international business and new media sales channels. Amrita's previous experience also includes CRM sales, training and journalism.

Karthee is Director for India Investments at Qualcomm Ventures and is based in Bangalore. Karthee has over 14 years of experience in the wireless and multimedia industries and has worked in product development and management roles at various startups. Prior to his current role, he worked as a management consultant at Boston Consulting Group and as an associate at the venture capital firm, JK&B Capital.

Karthee currently manages and actively serves as a board observer for Qualcomm Ventures investments in Validity Sensors, Pixsense, Kirusa and Tessolve. Karthee holds an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago and an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan.

Dr. Ashwin Mahesh is on the Visiting Faculty at the Centre for Public Policy, Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, and has been a consultant to the Second Administrative Reforms Commission of the Central government, developing structural and functional reforms for the higher bureaucracy. He heads the social technology company, Mapunity, which is incubated at the N S Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning at IIM, and also serves as a co-editor of the public affairs magazine, India Together, which he co-founded in 1998.

Dr Mahesh holds an MBA, a Masters degree in Astronomy, and a PhD in remote sensing. He received his doctorate in 1999 from the University of Washington, where he studied Antarctic clouds and climate change questions. Since 2005, he has been working on social and economic problems, first with Egovernments Foundation and thereafter with Mapunity, which he co-founded in 2006. He is interested in the potential of information and communication technologies to promote the public good, and to facilitate capacity building in public administration. His current research focus is on urban governance, in particular the problems associated with mobility in urban areas.

Kiran carries overall responsibility of defining and delivering products such as music, infotainment, sports and contests at OnMobile. He has over 14 years of experience in software and telecommunication industries.

He received Bachelor of Engineering degree from BMSCE, Bangalore in Telecommunications.

Suresh is directly responsible for all aspects of product development and operations at mChek besides leading the efforts in making it a nimble, yet process-oriented organization. Suresh has more than 15 years of software engineering expertise having worked in several product development companies in the US and India. He is an accomplished professional in creating, leading and motivating high-performance and distributed engineering teams and implementing corporate development standards.

Prior to mChek, Suresh headed India operations of Centrata, a Kleiner Perkins funded start-up. Before that, Suresh worked for several years at Oracle, both in Silicon Valley and subsequently in Bangalore. At Oracle, Suresh was directly responsible for engineering/development of its CRM product. Suresh has also worked with Motorola and Kellogg as a consultant in the US.

Suresh holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and an undergraduate degree in Production Engineering from VJTI, Mumbai. He has published several technical papers focusing on organizational development and software technology.

Raghavendra Varma carries overall responsibility of defining and delivering the MMP2500 platform, on which the Company's products are built. He has over 15 years of experience in software and telecommunication industries.

Santosh is one of the earliest people to join mKhoj and is credited with founding the Ad Sales team to reach out to Advertisers across APAC. An Engineer and MBA from Mumbai University, Santosh was earlier a core member of the start-up team at Local Lifestyle and Entertainment search portal, burrp.com. Before burrp! Santosh worked with DIREM Mumbai (now split into Cartesian Consulting and Direxions) where he specialized in offering one-2-one marketing & CRM solutions to DIREM'S clients across industry verticals. Through his past experience at DIREM and burrp! Santosh brings in a marketer's perspective from all 3 dimensions – An Advertiser, A Direct Marketing Agency and A Media Company – to devise & execute highly targeted mobile marketing campaigns for mKhoj clients.

Sridhar T. Pai, is founder and CEO of Tonse Telecom, India’s leading telecom research, analysis and consulting company. Prior to starting Tonse Telecom, Sridhar was director global marketing for IntelliNet Technologies, a US based telecom signaling infrastructure firm. Prior to that Sridhar helped found Xybridge Technologies, a pioneering softswitch vendor, one of the first Indian telecom product companies to take infrastructure IP to global market, before getting acquired by Zhone Technologies in 2001.He started his career with Motorola – Infrastructure Systems Group in Singapore / India as a WAN engineer.

Sridhar has authored The India Wi-Fi Report (2007) and another in 2008 (March) and The India WiMAX Report [2006 and 2007], two most well-read reports covering the Indian broadband wireless markets.

Navin Thangiah is Director for Market Development at mChek, responsible for the entire marketing and business development functions including increasing the geographical footprint for mChek across the globe. Navin is a seasoned telecom / internet professional who has worked across firms like Airtel, Sify, HP, Vodafone & Cadbury's. He has held various roles within the telecom sector including that of a business head at Airtel and marketing at Hutch (Vodafone). Sharad Sharma is the CEO of Yahoo! India R&D. He has over 21 years of experience in the enterprise software and wireless infrastructure sectors. Prior to joining Yahoo!, he was involved in buyout activities focused on taking mid-sized software product companies private. Previously, he was the India General Manager and corporate Vice President of Product Operations at Symantec (formerly VERITAS) and was responsible for the turnaround of the VERITAS operations in India. He was earlier a co-founder and CEO of Teltier Technologies, a New Jersey based wireless infrastructure start-up that became the leader in the Presence and Availability Management space and is now part of Cisco. Sharad has managed product development teams at Lucent Technologies both in US and in India. He also setup AT&T's, and later Lucent's, R&D operations in India in mid-90s. Mr. Narasimha Suresh, the founder and CEO of TELiBRAHMA Convergent Communications Pvt. Ltd.

TEliBrahma was started with zero investment in 2004 focussed around building mobile applications using prebuilt components and platforms. Advances raised by potential customers ensured that company can run on its own @ times where there was not too much of Angel investment.

TELiBrahma went on to raise the investment from Kitven in 2004 and today is a front running in creating a digital media using Bluetooth as a channel. Winner of several prestigious industry awards like Redherring global 100 and Deloitte fast 50 TELiBrahma is focussed around building a alternative digital media network offering rich media content and location based services to consumers.

Suresh manages the overall strategy and business development of the company. He has been instrumental in filing more than 5 patents and transitioning the company in to media focused organization from the technology company. Mr. Suresh was earlier associated with a few start-ups and multinational enterprises like Siemens, Wipro, eCapital, eVector and Realsoft in varied roles. He worked with some acclaimed clients across US, EMEA and APAC regions. During his long career, he has spent considerable time working on technology concepts like distributed computing, telecom and wireless domains.

Suresh has a vision to create a consumer focused product out of India and believes that India offers a great opportunity to create and disrupt product offerings for the global market place.

By qualification, Mr. Suresh is an engineering graduate in E&C from Bangalore University and MBA in Global Strategic Management Master, ICFAI.

Sasikumar is finance & management control systems professional with hands on experience in micro finance and technology enabling systems for credit delivery. He has good experience in providing training and technical support to MFIs, Banks and NBFCs for development of business plans, marketing strategies, feasibility studies, monitoring and evaluation systems, impact studies of microfinance products, and management systems. Sasikumar has experience in financial management systems, enterprise resource management applications, database development and financial analysis.

Sasikumar also has in-depth knowledge of system analysis of micro-finance institutions and SHG-Federation model based financial institutions. He holds a Masters degree in Finance & Computer Applications and Masters of Philosophy in Commerce from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. He is specialized in Financial Services Delivery systems (mobile phone based systems), Micro-Finance, system analysis and business development.

Sasikumar is an expert in designing IT products to work for rural areas and in innovating new technologies. His effort in technology development delivers innovative services with the help of widely used mobile phones and other devices.

Sasikumar has been working in Product Development Unit of ekgaon leading delivery systems service area for microfinance, health insurance, climate & weather information services and refinancing institutions for three years and has developed core competency in development of systems for both urban and rural microfinance institutions and Banks. Dr. Varadharajan Sridhar is Professor in Information Management at the Management Development Institute, Gurgaon and is a visiting research fellow at Sasken Communication Technologies. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Iowa, U.S.A. and is an alumnus of University of Madras and National Institute for Training in Industrial Engineering, Mumbai. He has taught at Ohio University and American University in the US; University of Auckland in New Zealand and at IIM Lucknow. Dr. Sridhar’s primary research interests are in the area of telecommunication management and policy and Global Software Development. He has published his research work in many international journals and presented them in conferences. He is also a regular contributor on telecom related articles in business newspapers and magazines. He was the recipient of the Nokia Visiting Fellowship awarded by the Nokia Research Foundation. He is the co-editor of International Journal of Business Data Communications and Networking and is on the editorial board of the Journal of Global Information Management.

Abhishek believes in creation of wealth and degrees of freedom. He started his career with Satyam Computers and worked for their telecom division for couple of years. In 2002, he co-founded Six DEE Telecom Solutions, a telecom value added services company. He grew this business to span nine countries and fifteen operators. He implemented m-commerce products in the last start-up and always wondered why the focus was not on serving customers who had no bank accounts and cards.  He exited Six DEE in February 2007 to pursue his vision to promote mobile phones as a financial identity for people at the bottom of the pyramid which was further validated when he won the TIE-Canaan Entrepreneurial Challenge, 2006.
